Our automobile manufacturing client located in Plano TX is seeking a consultant for a long term contract employment opportunity. Accounts Receivable Business analyst / IT-Finance Project Liaison with experience in SAP. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively bridge the communication gap between IT and Finance and Accounting for multiple project initiatives.

This role sits in the COE (Center of Excellence) for SAP support for the accounting systems, specifically supporting the AR, Global netting process. This role is the liaison between the SAP business users in the AR/Global netting team and IT for SAP Hana issue resolution. As issues arise, this person will work with the business and in the system to identify root cause and understanding of breaks, help develop the requirements for the fix, and working with IT and other interdependencies to ensure resolution.

Skills:

-System analysis – ability to troubleshoot in the system to identify breaks and help develop and recommend solutions.

-Project Management – good organization skills and ability to work with multiple teams for problem resolution

-Communication – good communication skills with both accounting and IT and non-financial groups

Incoming consultant (maybe 2) will cross train with Charmaine.

Software: SAP Hana S4, specific AR experience

Excel Skills: Advanced

Responsibilities:

• Act as a proficient SOX Control Subject Matter Expert concerning Order to Cash Interfaces

• Oversee Vehicle wholesale processes as the primary resource for Order to Cash Interfaces

• Manage and monitor Sales Margins, Miscellaneous Billings, and Freight as part of Order to Cash Interface responsibilities

• Function as the Technical Liaison, requiring effective communication and coordination with technical resources and finance and accounting teams

• Utilize project management skills to ensure the smooth running of all projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Accounts Receivable subject matter expert

Experience with SAP ERP system

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related field

• Demonstrable knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure

• Proficient understanding of financial management principles

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail

• Ability to liaise between IT and Finance departments to ensure project goals are met

• Strong communication skills to effectively relay information between teams

• Proficiency in using Project Management tools and software

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
