Together with our commercial and operations teams, you’ll research, design, present and execute these innovative solutions for existing and prospective clients.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Research and initiate dialogue with experts within the recycling/reuse industry to develop recycling/ reuse/ waste minimizations solutions for Client waste streams
Works with Commercial and Operations teams to identify and prioritize Client Opportunities for innovative solutions
Assesses client current programs
Builds & implements Solutions for Client Opportunities
Leads building of programs, based on assessments and client goals,
Evaluation of waste needs, Equipment, logistics, recycling & Product Stewardship
Coordinate with Vendor Relationship Manager to understand current partner capabilities & solutions for gaps
Make recommendations for go-forward practices and best in class alternatives that promote product stewardship and recycling improvements
Jointly develops/presents plans and timing for potential solutions to Clients
Works with Operations to develop roll-out plan for Clean Earth facilities
Leads/manages implementation of innovative solutions across Operations
Works with Commercial to spread new innovative solutions/best practices to other Clients
Participates in Customer Facing meetings and Commercial activities as they relate to Innovative Solutions for potential/current Clients.
Travel to Client Meetings, present/deliver Innovative Solutions, Strategy and Value
Travel to Client locations for site walks/bid walks, data gathering
Participate in Client business reviews as needed
Work with Commercial and Operations teams to complete RFPs and strategy to win business
Conduct and participate in internal business reviews. This position will interact and present review information with/to General Manager, Vice Presidents and other Management.
Candidates must currently reside in the Indianapolis, IN region or nearby and report to office 3 days per week for hybrid working schedule
Candidates must be willing and able to travel domestically via commercial airline, automobile, and other means of public transportation.
Basic Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in environmental science or other related field
Five or more years of waste management, recycling experience required
Multiple years’ experience in accessing & developing total waste programs, focused on sustainability
Multiple years’ experience in Client Management/Account Management/Project Management
Demonstrates expertise with RCRA and DOT regulations
Sound knowledge in using technology & systems (word, PowerPoint, intermediate use of Excel, formulas, v-lookups)
Preferred Qualifications
40 hour HAZWOPER Certificate
Training in DOT, RCRA, Project/Account Management
Excellent knowledge in waste management, recycling, reuse
Demonstrates the ability to successfully manage and execute projects
