Inventory Professional for an Industry Leader
Must Have Skills:
2+ years of inventory experience
Data entry/reporting experience
Computer proficiency
Description:
Review, research and complete all receipts of incoming material - Pulling material (reporting) from inventory status
Read through and enter skus, numbers, check weight of orders, etc.
Assign work orders -Put instructions into work order for workers can process
Close out orders once complete in the system
HIGH VOLUME EMAILING - 50-100 emails per day, to internal entities. No communication with end users.
Use of dynamic and ALM
Use Excel for production schedule and to track orders.
Pull reports from Inventory Mgmt system
Ensure all material receipt discrepancies are addressed and resolved with the appropriate parties in the required turnaround deadline.
Monitors and analyzes the Anticipated Delivery/Overdue Purchase Order reports, resolving any past due issues with the appropriate parties.
Initiates all repacks, relabels, blends and transfer work orders.
Generates transactions in OHM and Blue including : Goods Receipt, Jobbings, Goods Issue.
Tracks manual charges that cannot be captured in the system, i.e. unscheduled labor charges, packaging supplies, bulk truck verification charges.
Researches and resolves all inventory discrepancies.
Manages warehouse claim creation, submittal and resolution.
Manage physical inventory - planning and reconciling.
Assist warehouse staff on sales order corrections.
Responsible for overseeing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
Manages the inventory on hold and reports nonconforming product to the appropriated parties.
Act as a liaison between internal customers – purchasing, inventory and claims department - and the Distribution Center.
Assist with the planning and execution of the end of year physical counts:
Works with sales processor team to complete the close out of all orders and batches in Dynamics.
Runs reports and generate count sheets with the applicable formatting.
Reviews discrepancies and provides potential shortages and damages to Inventory Manager.
Assist warehouse staff and sales processors team with sales order corrections.
