$1,500 to $2,500 - Upon completion of 90 days of employment
$1,500 to $2,500 - Upon completion of 12 months of employment
$1,500 to $2,500 - Upon completion of 24 months of employment
The Position/pay
Water Treatment Plant Operator II, III, IV, V
$36.68-$51.73 per hour
CURRENT WORK SCHEDULE
Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Standby rotation every other week on days of scheduled work.
The Human Resources Department is currently accepting applications in our Drinking Water Treatment Division. Depending on qualifications, candidates may be placed in theWater Treatment Plant Operator classification within the appropriate grade (II, III, IV or V). This recruitment may also be used to establish an eligibility listto fillcurrent and futurepositions in theDrinking Water Division of Operations.
Water Treatment Plant Operator II, III, IV, V
Under supervision performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks associated with the operation and maintenance of the Districts drinking water treatment plant; monitors treatment plant and distribution system operations; responds to alarms; collects and analyzes water samples; and maintains and submits a variety of State documents and records.
