Federated Hermes Trade Coordinator, Managed Accounts in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania

Federated Hermes, Inc., a global leader in active, responsible investing, is seeking a Trade Coordinator, Managed Accounts to join our Trading -- Equity Managed Accounts team based at our Corporate Headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office.

 

What You'll Do

As a Trade Coordinator, you'll perform various tasks that support the equity managed accounts trading teams. You will be responsible for trade implementation functions across numerous separately managed accounts investment strategies and model delivery.

  • Analysis and Order Generation of SMA accounts, including daily maintenance trading, across-the-board order generation, and drift analysis
  • Assist with the trade allocation, settlement, and the communication of block trades and allocations to the appropriate external Sponsor and brokers; ensure trades are executed and allocated correctly and in a timely manner
  • Work with Sponsors and Broker/Dealers on allocation and settlement issues
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly checks to review accounts for cash and security drift across the strategies
  • Update, reconcile and maintain models on a regular basis
  • Update and deliver model portfolios to sponsoring intermediaries for non-discretionary strategies
  • Day to day workflow/trading inquires and account maintenance issue and escalation support
  • Work on ad hoc projects or initiatives to support the team

     

The Expertise We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Accounting, or Business-related major preferred, or relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Internship experience and an understanding of the financial industry and financial markets preferred.
  • Excellent math or accounting skills with solid skills in Excel 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
