Description A Robert Half client is seeking a new Software Developer to join their team. Apply for this position today if you think you can be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company. This long-term contract / contract to permanent employment opportunity is based in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and contribute production support

• Furnish clear and consistent information around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams

• Consistently enact code-review and join up with other developers

• Can you maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems? This job might be for you

• Work together with Scrum team to deliver exact work estimates Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable

  • Experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc., are strongly preferred.

  • This position requires familiarity with scrum

  • If you have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc., you will be strongly preferred

  • Prior experience integrating with API backends

  • You'll be a good fit for this position if you can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments

  • This position will be the best fit for a candidate with familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database)

  • Linux experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Python

  • Knowledge of education standard such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF is a plus Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
