Role Summary:

Are you passionate about creating delightful and differentiated user experiences that can propel growth? We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to drive the growth of our innovative gifting platform. Our patented platform utilizes card linking technology to connect directly into the major payment networks and delivers a secure and personalized gifting experience for the buyer and recipient. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to gain deep domain expertise while significantly shaping our product roadmap and ensuring quality outcomes for our partners and users. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be overseeing the development process, be at the forefront of defining product strategies, and delivering impactful solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to bring products from concept to launch and beyond. Your strategic insights and ability to manage complex projects will be crucial in navigating trade-offs and making informed decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term goals. This is an on-site position in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Roadmap: Develop a deep understanding of all platform capabilities, offerings and architecture. Own the product lifecycle from requirements to final delivery, navigating necessary trade-offs during development. Maintain the product backlog and act as the product owner in the agile scrum process.

  • Requirement Gathering: Document clear product requirements and success criteria. Lead structured collaboration with engineering and drive short- & long-range plans.

  • Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders. Facilitate communication between teams to align project goals and deliverables. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Thought Leadership: Explore innovative solutions to enhance the gifting experience, conceptualize & drive disruptive ideas. Contribute to the overall product roadmap and vision.

  • Data Driven & Customer-centric Decisions: Monitor existing KPIs for signals and trends and identify new KPIs and data collection needs. Gather partner and end user feedback to identify key pain points and opportunities for improvement.

  • Coordinate with Key Partners: Work closely with our major partners including the payment networks and processors to understand their capabilities and continue to enhance the card linking experience in our platform.

  • Bias for Action: Act with urgency and focus. Proactively identify and mitigate risks.

  • Support Business Development Efforts: Communicate regularly with our sales teams to understand customer & prospect feedback and participate as needed on discovery or implementation calls.

  • Travel as needed to participate in key customer, partner discussions, as well as participating in Fintech conferences.

    Qualifications:

  • Product Management: 7+ years of experience in product management, with a preference for E-commerce, payments, fintech, B2B, SaaS, and/or platform experience. Ability to lead discussions with engineering teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, decisions across organizational levels. Ability to present and defend concepts / decisions with stakeholders.

  • Cross-team Collaboration: A team player, and strong collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Delivering Results: Proven track record of hands-on ownership in delivering results, value and impact for in-market products.

  • Technical & Analytical: Exceptional analytical skills, technical depth, systems thinking, ability to make trade-offs and a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Decision-Making: Data-centric, customer-centric approach to solving problems and making decisions.

  • Customer Obsession: Passionate about solving customer problems with demonstrated ability to anticipate and navigate complex challenges. Passion for understanding and addressing partner and user needs and developing innovative solutions.

  • Dealing with Ambiguity: Results driven self-starter with curiosity, adaptability, and a bias for action.

  • Experience with agile product development, good understanding of web technologies preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, science or related field required. Exceptionally relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
