We're seeking a future team member for the role of Sanctions Operations Associate to join our Sanctions Operations Blocking and Reporting team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA, or Lake Mary, FL, and will work a Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office required). In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Performing blocking and unblocking functions for OFAC sanctioned funds Supporting all aspects of reviewing, documenting and managing Sanction blocked accounts. Reviewing blocked and rejected transactions for reporting to OFAC Preparing and submitting reports through internal BNY systems and OFAC Reporting System for blocked, unblocked, transferred and rejected sanctioned assets Daily monitoring and reconciliation of Sanctions blocked assets Preparing documentation for legal subpoenas on blocked assets To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required 0-3 years of total work experience preferred Prior working experience in the finance industry highly preferred Experience reading SWIFT messages is preferred Experience in International Money Management System (IMMS) and Global Securities Process (GSP) is preferred Ability to self-manage workload and goals independently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven organization At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
