As a Risk & Control Advisor within PNC's Enterprise Data Management organization, this position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.
In this role you will primarily serve as Enterprise Data Risk Management’s Risk Steward for the Third Party Data Risk Assessment.
Primary responsibilities include ensuring that assessment criteria and questions align with PNC data management standards and data risk areas of focus; overseeing assessment reviews; maintaining applicable procedures and risk controls; and adherence to PNC’s Enterprise Third Party Management Program.
The ideal candidate will lead thoughtful assessment design and execution that provide business value and deepen organizational understanding of third party data management practices. Additionally, they will be able to aggregate assessment results and present periodic third party data assessment updates, risk insights, and recommendations to senior leadership, key stakeholders, and risk committee(s).

This position is expected to be in office full time or as a hybrid role, working in the office three days a week.
Job Description
Partners within risk management to plan and execute the risk management program and corresponding communication strategies. Engages the lines of business to review and challenge compliance with programs.
Coordinates and implements the risk management program to meet regulatory expectations.
Coordinates the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and across the lines of business. Includes consultation to execute the program components.
Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Technology Risk, etc.) to proactively identify risk exposures across PNC.
Challenges business self assessment results (including new initiatives, business as usual activities, and risk management program) and reviews applicable independent analyses.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
