PNC Quality Assurance Lead in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

As a Quality Assurance Lead within PNC's Enterprise Technology & Security organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH. Candidates in other locations within PNC's footprint may also be considered.

The QA Lead will be part of a Quality Engineering team supporting PNC's Retail Bank Technology line of business. This person will oversee 3-5 crews and will be responsible for team coordination, maintaining and upkeeping Jira stories, daily status reports, and hold technical reviews of the testers' scripts. The QA Lead should have strong automation testing skills and be ready to step in to perform hands on testing if needed.

Job Description

  • Operating in a global delivery model, brings strategic direction to testing and acts as the subject matter expert for both the quality discipline and a line of business domain(s).

  • Leads the review of testing artifacts throughout the product life-cycle to ensure appropriate sign off and prioritization of testing work. Including coordinating test strategy, scripting and defect resolution.

  • Including ensuring early engagement with internal partners and proactive planning to ensure quality is a core area of focus early in the product lifecycle.

  • Take accountability for quality standards in the development, implementation and upkeep test scripts and opportunities for automation of testing products.

  • Developing meaningful management metrics that help to gauge project health. Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement in product release.

Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. COMPENSATION

Base Salary : $55,000 - $142,600

Where a person is paid in the compensation range is aligned to their experience and skills. Placement within the compensation range is based on the specific role and the following factors:

  • Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the job

  • Within the range- Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

  • Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Compensation Range may vary based on Geographic Location

INCENTIVE

Role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and individual performance.
