UPMC Community Medicine, Inc. seeks a Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine Physician to diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries to the respiratory tract, including lung disease and breathing problems; provide care to critically ill and injured patients who are admitted to the hospital, monitoring their condition and treatment, and referring them to other specialists when necessary; provide care for patients in the clinic and inpatient setting for Pulmonary diagnoses, including the ICU for critically ill patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries to the respiratory tract, including lung disease and breathing problems;

• Provide care to critically ill and injured patients who are admitted to the hospital, monitoring their condition and treatment, and referring them to other specialists when necessary;

• Provide care for patients in the clinic and inpatient setting for Pulmonary diagnoses, including the ICU for critically ill patients.

• Medical degree, or equivalent;

• Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine and completion of fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine;

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine;

• Must be eligible for a PA medical license.
