Exciting growth at Maxor National Pharmacy Services has created a new opportunity for a per diem (PRN) Pharmacy Technician. In this role, the Pharmacy Tech will provide compassionate customer service at East Liberty Family Health Care Center Pharmacy, a clinic-based retail pharmacy located in Pittsburgh, PA. In this integrated model, the pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients.

Greet customers and take prescription orders
Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
Answer the phone
Input customer information into the computer system
Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your certification within 6 months
Flexibility and availability to cover shifts during weekdays, no weekends required
Bilingual Spanish speaking a huge PLUS
A minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience
Proven track record of exemplary customer service
Computer experience mandatory
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
