Robert Half HR Generalist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Description

Our client in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a part time candidate to assist with HR Operations. Pay is: $20-24. This person will be responsible for managing and executing various HR-related tasks and Payroll activities in our organization. The candidate will be a core part of our team and will be supporting our organization's productivity by ensuring efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage significant HR responsibilities, including managing anniversary dates and 90-day reviews.

  2. Act as a point of contact for dispute resolution and manage conflict within the organization when required

  3. Manage and keep track of employee timecards physically

  4. Process payroll information and liaise with our external CPA, ensuring all necessary documentation is sent in a timely manner for direct deposit operations

  5. Oversee the benefits administration portion of human resources, by collaborating closely with one broker

  6. Plan and announce open enrollment periods

  7. Handle the complexities of vendor management with a keen eye on enhancing long-term relationships

  8. Develop and revise company policies on an ongoing basis

  9. Manage and review expense reports for approval

  10. Oversee bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial transactions

Ideal Candidates should have:

• Strong knowledge of HR functions.

• Previous experience with payroll systems, ADP preferred but not necessary.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

• Superior interpersonal skills for conflict resolution.

• Prior experience in benefits administration in collaboration with brokers.

• Understanding of vendor management and expense reports management.

• Experience in managing timecard systems, both digital and traditional.

• Adept in banking reconciliation.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

Requirements • Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience using Ceridian and HRMS

• Knowledge of About Time software

• Understanding of Benefit Functions in HR

• Familiarity with Compensation Administration processes

• Strong grasp of Compliance requirements in HR

• Ability to handle Employee Relations effectively

• Proficient in HR Generalist duties and responsibilities

• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
