Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be on-site and play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Decommissioning laptops as part of office relocation and system updates

• Managing hardware configurations and deployments for Mac and Microsoft systems

• Utilizing Active Directory for managing user accounts and access controls

• Providing technical support for computer hardware

• Ensuring accurate record-keeping of all hardware and software deployments

• Resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner

• Monitoring system performance and implementing improvements as required

• Collaborating with the wider IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all systems

• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role as a Help Desk Analyst or related IT support role

• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting Mac Computers and Apple Devices

• Familiarity with Microsoft software and operating systems

• Experience with Active Directory, including managing user and computer accounts

• Solid understanding of computer hardware, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues

• Knowledge of Configuration Management processes and principles

• Experience with IT Deployments, including the installation and setup of new systems and software

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively assist users and team members

• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently

• High level of patience and customer service skills when dealing with users and their IT problems

• Must be able to prioritize and manage work under pressure
