Veralto
On September 14, 2022, Danaher announced its intention to separate its Environmental & Applied Solutions segment to create an independent, publicly traded company. The new company will be called Veralto and will be comprised of an outstanding collection of market-leading brands in Danaher's Environmental and Applied Solutions (EAS) segment: Hach, ChemTreat, Trojan, OTT HydroMet, and McCrometer from Danaher's Water Quality Platform and Videojet, Esko, X-Rite Pantone and Linx from the Product Identification Platform. The EAS segment generated revenue of approximately $4.8 billion in 2022 and has a global team of approximately 16,000 associates.

About The Role
As the Global Travel & Fleet Manager reporting to the Director, Indirect Global Travel & Fleet, you will drive competitive business advantage by implementing innovative strategies for cost reduction, quality, and delivery across the corporation’s non-production expenditures for Travel and Fleet Indirect categories totaling $100M annually spend. You will be providing management supervision of regional DRA’s.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and implement sourcing improvement priorities based on the strategic plan to reduce costs, improve quality and service, and enhance corporate core value drivers.
Consult, supervise, and delegate on a portfolio of global savings for travel and fleet spend and improvement projects where the outcome can have a significant impact on business.
Assess and improve existing tools to support spend visibility, dashboards, reports, and other business intelligence methods that drive action by commodity leaders, regional leaders, and opco/segment/platform procurement leaders.
Support and consult on M&A due diligence as requested while leading or supporting acquisition integration projects as a part of overall integration team.
Manage and supervise corporate local and regional travel and fleet managers on critical priorities and strategies as assigned by leadership and work closely with executive management and segment/platform procurement leaders in setting policy and strategy for travel and fleet activities including funnel management, common metrics, spend visibility, supplier management, and talent development.
Your Attributes
The essential requirements of the job include:
Undergraduate degree in relevant area such as supply chain, business management, operations, or finance with a minimum of 5 years’, (10 preferred) combined experience in business, Indirect Sourcing, Travel Commodity Management, Fleet Management.
International experience in managing indirect reports in a matrix environment.
Ability to work independently and comfortably in ambiguous situations, know how to resolve conflicts and have a proven track record of achieving results.
Demonstrated effectiveness in communicating concepts and recommendations and gaining acceptance and commitment.
Full proficiency in use of computer tools including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other database type tools.
Travel - Approximately 30% travel is required
