GeoStabilization International Field Engineer, Project Management Office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Overview
The Field Engineer will provide administrative support for the Project Management Team (PMO) to successfully deliver on our projects that are geographically located throughout the US and Canada. We are looking for someone that is organized, proactive and can think ahead to anticipate the needs of the team. The work environment is fast paced, requiring the ability to multi-task many priorities and maintain a highly organized work process.

Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities:
Review plans, contract, and another other pertinent technical documents
Track material and production quantities; invoice approval; cost estimate preparation
Assist with project documentation control
Develop boilerplate documentation for office and field operations
Create, manage and track RFI’s
Create, manage and track Submittals, schedule updates; show drawing review and submittals
Maintain an up-to-date log on ALL locates/811 calls
Assist with load tests and site visits as needed, Monitoring of compliance with quality and safety standards
Other Duties
Assist all project managers with any reasonable requests
Uses tablets, phones, computers or other electronic devices for work tasks.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Perform audits of projects and field operations
Track, Review, and Report NCRs
Provide training and coaching related to Quality Control Procedures
Support management of testing equipment
Support Survey, Site Layout, and UAS
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
Safety mindset and ability to read, understand and follow policies and procedures
Data entry skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills: proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software preferred.
This role features heavy travel (75% anticipated).
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or two years field experience
NOTE:While this position is remote with extensive travel, the Pittsburgh, PA area is strongly preferred.
