University of Pittsburgh Faculty.Professor.Professor - Full-Time in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and the University of Pittsburgh are recruiting an Otolaryngologist at the Professor level with a specialization in Head and Neck Cancer Survivorship. This position offers the opportunity to join a thriving academic, clinical, and research department with a residency training program. The incumbent would lead the Survivorship Clinic within the department's Head and Neck Cancer division, assess patients for late and long-term effects of treatment, and provide education, including a survivorship plan. This position will also oversee the collection and management of data collected from the clinic for purposes of both quality and research evaluation. In addition to clinic administrative responsibilities, this position will be expected to dedicate effort to research, service and teaching. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional scientist to establish vigorous independent research programs and promote synergy between clinical and translational research. Candidates performing research related to head and neck cancer and survivorship are especially encouraged to apply.

 

This individual would join an established otolaryngology department based at an academic care facility and engage in all aspects of academic training, including clinical care, teaching learners of all levels, clinical research, and service for the department, the institution, and regional/national societies. The candidate must hold a terminal degree in their field.
