University of Pittsburgh Faculty Scholar Visiting - Rohan in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences is seeking a Visiting Scholar to join Dr. Lisa Rohan and her team at Magee-Women's Research Institute. The Visiting Scholar will gain experience in drug formulation development and assessment. As an active member of the Rohan laboratory, they will gain experience in various techniques used in product development such as mechanical testing, thermal characterization, microscopy, and HPLC to name a few. This will be achieved through participation in multiple experimental studies ongoing in the MATRIX funded projects.
The research work will be performed at Magee-Women's Research Institute (MWRI) - an independent research institute and one of the largest in the nation that focuses on reproductive biology, and women's and infant health. Since its inception in 1992, MWRI has been a leader in funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and other sources.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or MD (or comparable terminal degree) in Reproductive Sciences
- Experience with drug formulation
