Data Quality Analyst
Job Summary
Analyzes more complex business needs and recommends solutions. Follows testing specifications, conducts quality improvement testing, and documents procedures and recommendations. Assists more senior business analysts with portions of more complex projects.
Essential Functions
Responsible for the daily data management of a centralized research awards databases. Creating, updating and performing quality control procedures required to ensure data integrity. Involvement in the development and validation of reporting data, as well as preparation, distribution, formatting, and analysis of reports. Validation and analysis of specific subsets of funding/award data, portions of which are published and/or distributed nationally and internationally by senior administrative offices within the University.
Physical Effort
Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
