Clinical Research Coordinator
- Communicate with research participants (e.g., study enrollment, payment).
- Triage emails related to research studies and lab activities.
- Manage lab calendars, schedules, and meetings.
- Maintain meeting agendas and monitor progress on research tasks.
- Attend and take notes at virtual and in-person lab meetings.
- Document research activities and procedures in the lab handbook.
- Organize and maintain research records, data, and resources (e.g., directories, websites, citations).
- Work collaboratively with the lab director, research assistants and staff, and administration in the School of Medicine.
The candidate should be attentive to detail, proactive about monitoring due dates and progress, and comfortable conducting research that includes potentially sensitive topics (e.g., problematic alcohol and substance use, mental health disorders, emotional trauma).
Job Summary
Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Recruits research subjects and conducts interviews and research assessments.
Essential Functions
Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.

Position is mostly sedentary work.
