As part of this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of clerks who are assigned to various environmental programs including Clean Water, Waterways and Wetlands, Safe Drinking Water, Air Quality, Environmental Cleanup, and Waste Management. You will be personally involved in supporting the Clean Water Program by handling administrative tasks such as data entry, processing mail, and ensuring effective communication flow within the program.

Your supervisory responsibilities will encompass ensuring that clerks are performing their duties efficiently and effectively, as well as providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the Clean Water Program by managing administrative functions and facilitating communication between team members.

This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. By overseeing clerks in multiple environmental programs, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of these initiatives and contribute to the overall goals of the organization. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Most selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $44,010 (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1; or One year as a Clerical Assistant 3; or Two years of as a Clerical Assistant 2; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
