Associate Professor in Rehabilitation Science
The Department of Community Health Services and Rehabilitation Science in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh seeks a 12-month appointment stream Associate Professor. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for teaching Rehabilitation Science related course content, mentoring students in the undergraduate Rehabilitation Science program, and participating in department, school, and university governance and service, along with other roles as determined by the department chair. Qualifications
Required:
• Earned Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
• Evidence of college or university teaching.
• Evidence of mentoring undergraduate students.
• Demonstrated evidence of University service.
Preferred:
• Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in a college or university setting.
• Licensure as State Board of Chiropractic, PA Dept. of State.
The start date for this position will be August 15, 2024. The position will be a 12-month appointment outside the tenure stream within the Department of Community Health Services and Rehabilitation Science.
