Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator

Individual serves as the Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator for the College of Business Administration. Duties include recruiting students to Pitt Business and helping to facilitate the marketing and admissions process. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors to the Office of Admissions; providing prospective students with detailed information about the Pitt Business program; communicating with prospects via email, phone, chat, and social media; participating in college marketplaces and information sessions; assisting with updates to marketing materials; and helping students plan for application and enrollment. Other tasks include posting transfer and test credit for new and continuing students on PeopleSoft; processing waivers on PeopleSoft for new transfer students; entering prospective student information into a CRM system such as Salesforce, application preparation and follow-up, report generation, and office administration.

Job Summary

Prepares, processes, maintains, and provides information regarding student admissions records and/or reports. Participates in recruitment activities and projects.

Essential Functions

Written and verbal communication with students and other staff, using computer and telephone.

Physical Effort

This position is generally sedentary.
