Academic Advisor
Utilizes advising knowledge, theory, and experience to serve as an academic liaison for students to identify academic and career goals, select appropriate courses, and plan for degree attainment. Leads the facilitation and implementation of University-sponsored activities. This position is takes the lead on initiatives contributing to end-to-end student satisfaction beginning with matriculation and through the graduation certification process.
Master's degree required. Bachelor's degree and 4-5 years experience may be substituted for Master's degree. General computer and word processing skills required. PeopleSoft experience preferred. Excellent communication and time management skills. Experience in working with students, handling confidential circumstances, tactfully handling problems/concerns.
