Description
Responsible for the listed duties at multiple locations\ Evaluates current equipment and makes recommendations as needed\ Works with equipment manufactures on design and requirements of new equipment\ Travel to equipment manufactures facilities for progress updates on equipment orders and developing relationships with their teams\ Evaluates current equipment and process to recommend automation where feasible\ Works with IT department to ensure all technology is being utilized on equipment to ensure proper utilization and efficiency\ Works towards standardization of PLC\'s and controls and ensures the capability of programming and maintaining exists\ Provide training at each location in the areas of PLC\'s, controls, and equipment preventative maintenance\ Maintain drawings for floor plans, equipment and electrical schematics\ Travel to all plant locations as required\ Attends trade shows, product exhibitions, and conferences to maintain current understanding\ of new equipment and processes\ Comply and follow all safety and company policies and procedures
