Job Title: Scientist IIIJob Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist III with a degree in Chemistry or related sciences to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in wet chemistry, HPLC, and proficiency with at least three different dosage forms (Oral, Solid, Semi-Solid, Liquid, Topical, Nasal, Suspension, Thermal, Inhalation, Injectable, etc.). Essential Functions: • Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished pharmaceutical products, including stability products, using techniques such as IR spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and chromatographic techniques, in accordance with SOPs. • Prepare samples for analysis, maintain laboratory documentation, document analysis steps, and report results promptly. • Participate in method transfer activities within and between organizations. • Lead investigations of out-of-specification laboratory results when required. • Perform physical analysis using techniques like X-ray diffraction, DSC, Malvern mastersizer. • Prepare and execute method transfer protocols and method verification/validation protocols as needed. Additional Responsibilities: • Assist senior scientists in the laboratory as needed. • Remove expired chemicals and reference standards from the lab, and perform calibration of various instruments as assigned. • Standardize API for use as in-house reference standard. • Provide hands-on training to newly hired laboratory technicians or Assistant Scientists on analytical techniques and laboratory instruments.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in PISCATAWAY, New Jersey.
Work Environment
Candidates will work first shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) and must be flexible to work on weekends and stay late if needed. You will be part of a fast-paced QC team of 15-20 people in a generic pharmaceutical environment. A comprehensive training program is provided, covering almost every dosage form (Solid, Semi-Solid, Liquids, Suspensions, Thermal, Inhalation, injectables, etc.).
