Genscript USA, Inc. Sales Account Managers in Piscataway, New Jersey
Job Duties: Will drive and support sales efforts in given territory by implementing sales/marketing strategies for GenScript products and services and use knowledge of science and business, including corporate contacts, to develop and deliver profitable initiatives and build sales. Will grow and develop assigned sales territory for product/service lines to achieve sales goals. Will also work closely with RSM, TAM team and Sales team to build company brand to meet the team’s sales objectives. SAM will work 30% of the time doing quote and lead follow-up, account management and 70% of the time traveling in the field making customer visits and building relationships in order to achieve the agreed monthly/quarterly/yearly sales goals. Will develop and implement territory sales strategies and tactics for products/services, new markets and new applications. Will understand customer’s research application and match GenScript services and products to align with the customer’s research project requirements. Will share market knowledge with Sales, TAM and Marketing teams through weekly field feedback report. Will introduce GenScript to new markets - Industrial/Academic/Governmental, drive business expansion in collaboration with technical support team (TAM), and build and expand a business reference network to help grow and develop new business opportunities. Telecommuting or remote work from any US location is permissible. Employee is not required to work from a specific geographic location or travel to/from headquarters. Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in life science discipline, including molecular biology, bioengineering, biomedical science, biological science, biotechnology or closely related field plus minimum one (1) year of relevant industry experience, including technical account manager, sales account manager, or closely related technical or sales experience working in the life science industry. Specific requirements: Must have at least one (1) year hands-on experience with protein purification, western blots, ELISA, PCR amplification, DNA isolation. Must have knowledge of the Biological and CRO or CDMO market or general biotech industry, as evidenced by one (1) year of experience. Must have ability to operate effectively in an international business environment and the ability to succeed in such an environment, as evidenced by one year of experience. Must have ability to accurately forecast sales within territory on a weekly basis, as evidenced by one year of experience. Must have strong analytical and time management skills, as evidenced by one year of experience. Telecommuting or remote work from any US location is permissible.
