Are you passionate about all things data? We are seeking a Customer Success Leader to lead the enterprise stewardship community in adopting data governance and management best practices. As a Subject Matter Expert in data management, you will be at the forefront of enabling our data citizens to use and manage our data assets. The position is hybrid in New York or Piscataway, NJ.

What you will do:

  • Consult and support business and technology stakeholders in understanding data governance and data management, drive overall enterprise data maturity, and develop data strategies to drive continued growth

  • Engage domain data leaders and practitioners in identifying data problems and use-cases that can fuel operational reporting, analytics and/or overall data-driven decisioning. Support the domain data leaders in implementing a data governance framework that aligns to enterprise strategy, policy and regulatory requirements and follows data management standard processes

  • Drive use case activation with prioritized domains and drive maturity and success; report progress to partners and leadership in data forums

  • Lead and facilitate workshops aligning to defined data journey for use case definition and scoping, coordinate the build of data products, manage data definitions in enterprise data catalog, and continuously measure and monitor data quality and ensure data protection

  • Build the intake assessment and implement a prioritization framework to identify key use cases and domains to invest in for along with levels of service to support as many business customers as possible

  • Develop playbooks and SOPS for data stewards to implement data governance and data management using enterprise tools

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration or related field.

  • 6-8 years of proven experience in large data transformations focusing on data governance and data quality

  • Extensive knowledge of data management and data governance principles, implementations and latest industry trends

  • Proven ability to manage multiple business stakeholders, including engaging and aligning with enterprise senior leadership to drive data governance initiatives and strategies in line with the overall organizational goals

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to empower and guide cross-functional teams effectively

  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in information management or Library and Information Science

  • Consulting or product management experience

  • Proficiency in metadata and data quality tools like Atlan, Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Atacama, Talend, etc.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $116.000,00 - $172.000,00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements

  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
