Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry based in Piscataway, New Jersey. The selected individual will play a crucial role in handling various accounting functions, especially in maintaining and processing customer credit applications and records.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records consistently

• Use Accounting Software Systems for efficient management of accounts

• Handle account coding tasks to ensure correct allocation of expenses

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll and HR services

• Operate Concur for travel and expense management

• Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management

• Perform accrual accounting tasks for recognizing revenue and expenses

• Conduct auditing to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and records

• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions for electronic fund transfers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries.

• Proficiency in Account Coding and Accrual Accounting is a must.

• Demonstrated ability to use Accounting Software Systems effectively.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Experience with Concur software will be advantageous.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.

• Must be comfortable performing all Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP).

• Prior experience in Auditing is necessary.

• Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is necessary.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
