Avera is currently seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.
Job Summary
Assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of primary health care, medical management and education of patients in the Emergency Department. Physician Assistants practice under the rules and regulations for Physician Assistants in the state in which they work .
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
Emergency department experience preferred.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS
Licensure as a Physician Assistant and ability to practice in the state of Minnesota is required.
Federal DEA certification only is required for Minnesota employees.
National Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required.
Work Schedule
Varied Shifts (12 hours)
Every third Weekend, Holiday and Call-Time Rotations
