Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

• Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all equipment.

• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing equipment.

• Removes any defective parts by dismantling the devices using the proper tools and inspecting the parts for wearing, replacing or reinstalling new part and test equipment for proper operation.

• Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.

• Fabricates repair parts by using maintenance shop instrumentation and equipment.

• Maintains equipment, parts and supplies inventories by check stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies and informing supervisor or equipment, parts and supplies needed.

• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing personal needs.

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.

Job Type

This is a Direct Hire position. Hours will be 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday. Pay will range from $32.00-$34.00/hr plus a $2 shift differential for 2nd shift.
