Job Title: Plumbing Technician

Job Description

The Plumbing Technician will assist the foreman in installing copper, cast iron, PEX, Uponor, and PVC piping systems. You will be responsible for using a tape measurer to accurately measure and cut materials, ensuring precise installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the foreman with the installation of various piping systems including copper, cast iron, PEX, Uponor, and PVC.

• Use a tape measurer to measure and cut materials accurately.

• Cut, bend, thread, and process pipes and fittings.

• Work with large gauge PVC piping systems.

• Hand materials to plumbers as needed.

• Assist with the installation of hangers and other plumbing components.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience assisting plumbers on commercial construction sites.

• Proficiency in cutting materials with precision.

• Ability to work with large gauge PVC piping systems.

• Experience using a tape measurer for accurate measurements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CPVC, PEX, and other piping systems.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively with a team.

Work Environment

This role is based in a construction environment. All work is conducted indoors and above ground. You will be working directly with a fair but stern foreman who values hard work and dedication. As long as you demonstrate commitment and effort, you will be well-supported in this role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $25.00/hr.
