Eaton Corporation Senior Product Manager - Golf Pride in Pinehurst, North Carolina

Eaton’s IS GOLF Pride US division is currently seeking a Senior Product Manager - Golf Pride. This position is based at Golf Pride's Global Innovation Center in Pinehurst, NC. Relocation assistance will be provided.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

The Senior Product Manager – Golf Pride will be responsible for managing the global Profit & Loss (P&L) for our swing grip business. This position will have the freedom to build and execute our swing grip consumer product strategy. You will have the opportunity to partner with our sales channel leaders and a network of external agencies to win across channels around the world. The ideal candidate is passionate about the game of golf and has a proven track-record of building and managing a line of business.

You will be responsible for all consumer activities in support of growing our swing grip business that includes consumer, market, and profitability research/analysis. We will look to this role to paint the picture of what the consumer strategy looks like today and what it could look like in 2030.

What you’ll do:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Own the virtual product P&L for all swing grips sold in the global retail & direct to consumer channel.

  • Work with the Channel Sales leaders to develop a compelling growth vision for the swing grip business.

  • Develop a comprehensive and compelling product vision and consumer strategy that is grounded in consumer insight.

  • Work with Program Management and other operations leaders to streamline our support of swing grip business needs.

  • Connect the dots between multiple business goals, golfer needs and market trends to build consumer solutions.

  • Work together with program management, engineering, and sales to drive product development from conceptualization through design, development, launch, and post-launch.

  • Track metrics to assess success and failure of projects, while ensuring the team and stakeholders are aligned on goals.

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of customer & competitive portfolios to continually identify ways to improve our golfer experience.

  • Help mentor and demonstrate skills to assist the growth and maturation of the Product Management team.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • All-purpose business athlete with a strong background in product and brand marketing. Product Manager roles at Golf Pride are General Manager pipeline training roles and will test all tools in your tool kit.

  • Possess the ability to drive transformational creative content whether it is in the designs of product or development of supporting promotional campaigns in partnership with marketing.

  • Shine in situations where the decisions are not obvious and there are difficult choices to make, considering multiple points of functional feedback on the right thing to do for Golf Pride.

  • Thrive in cross-functional work teams with indirect responsibilities and your ability to use org savvy and interpersonal skills to bring people together in support a strong product vision.

  • An advocate for the consumer and their experience by leveraging insights to ensure we are addressing unmet needs.

  • A storyteller that can present a compelling narrative to influence & build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A success in enterprise-wide projects that include implementing or enhancing customer and consumer-facing experiences.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Five plus (5+) years of progressive experience in product management.

  • Demonstrated experience in Profit & Loss (P&L) management including revenue/sales, cost of goods sold, marketing, expenses and taxes.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Pinehurst, NC OR have the ability to relocate within a 50-mile radius of Pinehurst, North Carolina within 12 months of job offer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Ten or more years of proven experience in product management

  • Demonstrated background of compelling design in your work.

  • Experience applying design thinking tools and methodologies.

  • Practical work experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods.

  • Authentic connection to the game of golf.

Travel Requirement:

  • Desire and ability to travel up to 15% domestic and international.
