Meta Production Designer - Visual Systems in Pierre, South Dakota

Summary:

We’re looking for a passionate, thoughtful, and dedicated creative thinker who thrives in a dynamic atmosphere. You will be responsible for leading a team of production designers in executing post-production services (e.g. completion of all artwork files, including photography, illustration, graphics) while ensuring adherence to quality standards.This person will connect with Product Design, Producers and Engineering to make sure there are defined pipelines and tooling to maintain efficiency and scalability in high volume production. Ensures all files are correct, saved out correctly before handing off to stakeholders. Manages and organizes all directory structures, files and templates for the team.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead a team of Production Designers and ensure assets are being processed with quality and efficiency

  2. Look for new technical solutions to improve the workflow

  3. Develop scalable pipelines and comprehensive workflows

  4. Organize and maintain a large library of design files (Dropbox or Google Drive)

  5. Create, revise, and maintain files (PSD, Ai, Sketch, Figma)

  6. Provide detailed specs for creatives to work against

  7. Help teams visualize and advise on best practices

  8. Regularly communicate updates to internal groups

  9. Responsive, communicative, and creatively engaged in production processes

  10. Create, organize, and assign tasks

  11. Handing off final artwork to product partners

  12. Troubleshoot issues with design files (layer structure/organization)

  13. Work with Engineers to ensure assets are Implemented correctly

  14. Provide help or guidance in relevant internal feedback groups

  15. Create Keynotes for workshops and presentations

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of working experience as a Production Designer or similar role

  2. Demonstrated experience or knowledge of Figma and Photoshop Illustrator

  3. Familiarity with Sketch or After Effects

  4. Demonstrated experience in high volume batch processing such as Utilizing Scripts, Creating Actions, Smart Objects, and Figma components

  5. Experience designing and developing pipelines, including folders structures, naming conventions, and asset deliveries

  6. Familiarity with iOS, Android and WWW design

  7. Demonstrated experience proactively addressing and mitigating risk in future projects
