Position description

This position shall provide assistance for the implementation of any signage being required within the Institution, be it supplied by in-house services or executed by outside vendors. Supplies support services to the Institution for in-house wayfinding, signage design, detailing, documentation, material acquisition, production, fabrication, coordination, and application of the Mayo Clinic Master Planned Wayfinding Signage Program. Maintains existing room numbering system on CADD Database for Mayo Arizona Campus. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of Mayo staff as well as outside fabricators and signage consultants. Must be able to work with high degree of independence and self-direction.

Qualifications

Minimum two-year degree in Applied Technology/Computer Graphics, computer operating systems, and other software and hardware applications with a preferred three years’ experience working in the graphic design or signage fabrication industry.

Additional qualifications

Candidates should have evidence of mechanical abilities, knowledge of building materials and signage fabrication techniques, graphic design skills, and the ability to read and interpret construction documents and details. Must possess effective interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have demonstrated oral and written communication skills and the ability to establish and meet deadlines.

Compensation Detail

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $19.46 per hour.
