A Test Reliability Engineer is needed for a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Phoenix, AZ area. The Test Reliability Engineer performs assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and qualification of aircraft components, using specialized equipment to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

responsibilities:

• Plans and conducts assembly, disassembly, rework, and testing of aircraft components and systems.

• Performs functional testing using pre-established procedures and documents results.

• Runs electrical assembly testing, as well as thermal and vibratory (vibe) tests.

• Troubleshoots electronic components as necessary to meet engineering requirements.

• Analyzes test results to verify compliance with specifications and tolerances.

• Monitors ongoing tests, records data, and services test equipment as needed.

• Operates test stands, vibratory tables, thermal chambers, and other specialized equipment.

• Participates in internal audits and contributes to waste minimization efforts.

• Interfaces with cross-functional teams to resolve business issues and update project status.
