Aggreko Territory Sales Manager, Data Centers in Phoenix, Arizona

We are hiring immediately a Territory Sales Manager, West Region in our Data Center Sector - a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need .

What you’ll do:

  • Managing a remote sales team including setting, measuring, and tracking sales performance

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans for developing business, including product revenue targets.

  • Identify and evaluate potential new opportunities and provide suitable recommendations to boost sales of products / increase market share.

  • Implement/support the national accounts plan.

  • Ensure the attainment of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

  • Assist establishing a customer base in which to promote and solicit new, diverse, on-going business.

  • Maintain market awareness; stay in touch with market trends including economic, environmental and competitive forces influencing the market.

  • Enforce standards, monitor pricing practices, execute objectives and hold team accountable for performance.

  • Ensure effective adherence to company policies, procedures, and sales process.

  • Ensure optimal team performance and capability by providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, development, and corrective action.

  • Create and maintain relationships at key levels with select customers and accounts; ensure timely and thorough follow-up.

  • Ensure that assigned sector attracts, develops and retains the highest quality sales talent available in the marketplace.

  • Create a portfolio of new business customers.

  • Implement a Territory Sales Plan, detailing strategy, objectives and planned activity.

  • Execute comprehensive customer account plans and sales opportunity plans.

  • Build a robust sales pipeline and forecast that will yield future profitable revenue streams.

  • Provide proactive information about relevant market activities within the assigned territory or market sector.

  • Develop a detailed knowledge of competitive products and services in area of operation & submit accurate competitor information report monthly.

  • Compose monthly Communication Report.

  • Perform annual Competition Study.

  • You’ll have general understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • 7 to 15 years of direct business to business sales management experience

  • Advanced Knowledge of targeted territory

  • Advanced Knowledge of Data Center build industry

  • Proficiency with a CRM (i.e., Salesforce)

  • Partnership with other areas of the Aggreko business (Ops, Fleet, Logistics)

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
