Wolters Kluwer Technology Implementation Consultant - Integration in Phoenix, Arizona
Under general supervision, the Integration Analyst is the primary technical contact for the technical implementation of Wolter Kluwers’ Clinical Surveillance suite, including Sentri7 and POC Advisor. Works directly with external client integrations to transform data into a proprietary database. This involves configuring client data to conform to our standards, testing data integration to ensure proper transfer, and developing solutions to ensure the data integrations meets established standards.
On-call requirement: Approximately, once a month for a week, from 4:30 PM - 7 AM to clear any fault condition in our message processing system (and other duties as needed). For weeks on call providing after hours support, additional monetary compensation is provided.
Develops solutions to a variety of technical problems working within standard policies and practices;
Contributes to the completion of organizational technical projects and goals
Identifies areas of process improvement and implements new solutions;
Support and perform analytical studies regarding health-related data through the interface transformation
Frequent external client communication for information gathering, status updates, troubleshooting and problem solving.
Performs configuration of interfaces through both user interfaces and programming;
Performs data transformation based on pre-defined company standards;
Supports system and data integrity;
Ensures high system availability through the monitoring of alerts;
Responsible for the safe handling of highly sensitive and protected health information (PHI)
Bachelor’s degree in math, computer science, an applied science, or related technical field or equivalent experience
2-4 years of work experience in a integration analyst, interface analyst, or software development role or
Master’s Degree and 0-2 years of work experience
Experience working in a healthcare-related company preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Experience with various program languages such Lua or Python scripting languages
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL
Knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) standard strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of interpretation of customer business needs and translating them into application and functional requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse audience
Experience working with transformation of protected health information preferred
No travel required.
