Swift Transportation Team Admin (Sales Department) in Phoenix, Arizona

Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: Provide administrative support to truck sales team.

  • Maintain customer contact list for sales opportunities and provide information to sales representatives for additional follow up.

  • Identify potential customers via internet.

  • Prepare customer invoices for sales representatives.

  • Assist in gathering title information for sales representatives.

  • Facilitate sales processes through succinct communication with leadership and existing/potential customers.

  • Coordinate and communicate sales orders with designated Swift shop personnel to prep equipment and comply with customer expectations (ie. number of trailers, decals, maintenance, etc.).

  • Monitor current existing processes and procedures and provide recommendations for better alignment with department goals and corporate objectives.

  • Monitor and maintain truck sales metrics that directly tie to corporate objectives.

  • Provide recommendations for additional sales metrics.

  • Work directly with designated sales personnel to solicit customers.

  • Assist designated sales personnel with equipment advertising, including but not limited to providing pictures, make, model, year, specifications and quantities.

  • Update Swift equipment website and various other social and markeitng sites with equipment for sale.

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

  • Skills: Must be detail oriented. Must be effective in high pressure situations. Must be adept at problem identification and resolution. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated and possess a high level of initiative. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.

  • Experience Required: Two (2) years experience in sales administration and support required. Experience in transportation or heavy equipment industry required. Experience with Swift AS400 system preferred. CDL preferred
