Position Overview:

As a Sr. Commercial Operations Manager NPI at Honeywell, you will have a crucial role in driving ideation / innovation, customer discovery, developing value propositions for new offerings, and New Product Introduction (NPI) launch. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding unmet or under-met needs in your regional market through customer discovery, working closely with the product line offering manager and the global team on developing offerings to meet these needs, and assessing willingness to pay through voice of the customer. Additionally, you will play a key role in accelerating NPI by supporting positioning and pricing and enabling local product launches by working with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive effective marketing campaigns and sales enablement.

Ideal Candidate Experience:

· Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in product management, business development, engineering, or business-related role, with a focus on new product development.

· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus among stakeholders.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

· Drive innovation initiatives for the S&C business, including Ideation, Discovery, and New Product Launch.

· Conduct market research and analysis to help identify customer needs and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

New Product Strategy:

· Support the offering manager in developing the NPI strategy aligned with the company's overall product roadmap and business goals.

· Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new product opportunities.

· Help define product requirements, features, and specifications based on market needs and customer feedback.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

· Lead cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales throughout the innovation process.

· Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for innovation within the organization.

Commercialization for New Product Introductions:

· Partner with the offering management, marketing , and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales collateral for new products.

· Coordinate and drive product launch activities including sales training, customer education, and promotional campaigns.

· Monitor post-launch performance, collect feedback, and iterate on product features and marketing strategies as needed.

Continuous Improvement and Analysis:

· Participate in post-launch reviews and analysis to evaluate the success of NPI projects against established metrics and KPIs.

· Help identify opportunities for product enhancements, process improvements, and cost optimization.

· Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities related to new product introductions.

YOU MUST HAVE:

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management or related roles

· Proven track record in customer discovery, and NPI acceleration

· Experience in developing business case financials and creating offering roadmaps

WE VALUE:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Development, Engineering, or related field

· Experience in a global organization

· Proficient user experience design skills, e.g., customer journey map, experience diagramming, task analysis, workflow design, customer research, etc.

· Experience in market research and analysis

· Demonstrated business acumen with the leadership and functional ability to define and implement growth strategies

· Strong leadership and project management skills

· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
