We are looking to filling this position in one of the following OneNeck office regions: Scottsdale, AZ; Minneapolis, MN; and anywhere within the Southern California market. Remote work arrangements outside these locations will also be considered. Until our locations safely reopen, this position will work remotely at home.
The Sr. Account Executive – Cloud, Hosting and Managed Services is responsible for selling products and services to the key executives and staff at target companies and/or within defined territories. These sales efforts will be primarily focused on Hosting Solutions (Colocation, Cloud (public and private), Managed IT Services, Security Services, Application Modernization, Application Management and Implementation Services. This position will be responsible for the pursuit of new clients within the geographic territory and/or target account lists as defined by management. Contributions and expectations include achieving defined monthly and annual sales goals, delivering a quality customer experience, support of the business unit, and effective collaboration within the entire organization to achieve organizational goals. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Pursue new customer relationships and expand existing account relationships as applicable, to achieve specific sales goals and revenue growth targets
Partner with marketing and inside sales team to create and conduct outreach campaigns to generate leads, new sales opportunities and build professional networks
Develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers, potential customers, partners, and coworkers
Prospect for new opportunities, gather information, qualify requirements and participate in technical solution design
Create and articulate well-structured presentations, correspondence, proposals, and responses to RFP’s
Leverage consultative sales techniques to articulate our solution/business value and solve unique customer needs and problems
Attend trade shows, partner training, and follow-up on direct marketing activities
Remain current on industry trends, along with new products and services developed internally
Diligently maintain accuracy in internal sales CRM tools used for forecasting and pipeline development
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) OR 4+ years professional work experience
5+ years of highly successful technical sales experience (must include prior experience selling technology solutions, cloud computing, IT services and/or solving complex technical solutions)
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance
Travel as required by business need
Self-directed, and self-motivated team player
Energetic, with a competitive spirit and a results-driven, goal-oriented attitude
Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Curiosity and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Adaptable to rapidly changing environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
