Support business data stewards by fulfilling data custodian role for the Commercial Operational Data Ecosystem.

  • Partner with business process owners and business product owners to implement data policy and standards for the Physical Data.

  • Work as a member of agile scrum team

  • Work with development teams to automate and maintenance of technical metadata i including Metadata, data quality rules, lineage, transformation from end-to-end data flows.

  • Create and deploy processes to automate collection of data quality, completeness, correctness, and other insights

  • Demonstrate self-reliance in achieving the goals of the team.

  • Responsible for communicating, maintaining, and publishing the results of Data Quality Controls into the Enterprise Data Quality Scorecard

  • Partner with data Business Process Owners to define mitigating controls for identified risks involving critical data and address issues, including but not limited to, data accuracy, safeguarding and terminology consistency

  • Own and handle access to restricted data, and the communication for access requirements to applicable multi-functional teams

  • Evaluate and classify systems that originate, lead, and/or produce critical data within respective domains/business units according to the definitions of System of Origin (SOO), System of Record (SOR), or Authoritative Data Source (ADS)

  • Own end to end execution of key reporting and control processes related to data.

  • Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation

  • Finding opportunities for adopting new technologies

  • Directing a team of engineers that delivers knowledge management solutions to businesses worldwide

Depending on role and business needs, colleagues will either work onsite, in a hybrid model (combination of in-office and virtual days) or fully virtually.

If the role you are applying for is designated as hybrid or onsite, you will be required to demonstrate that you have completed your primary COVID-19 vaccination series (i.e., 2 doses for Moderna/Pfizer and 1 dose for J&J) and, for medically eligible

  • colleagues, a booster shot, in order to work in or visit any of our offices. This requirement is subject to legally required accommodations.

  • Booster eligibility: The CDC has established guidelines for when adults are eligible to receive booster shots depending on when they completed their initial vaccine series (currently five months after the Pfizer-Biotech and Moderna vaccines, and two months after the J&J Vaccine). If you have completed your primary vaccine series but have not yet reached your booster eligibility date, you will be able to come into the office; however, you will need to complete your booster within 30 days of becoming eligible to continue coming in and participating in company-sponsored in-person events.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of direct work experience in developing Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning models for data insights

  • 7 years experience in developing in Java/Python, Scala, Spark, or SparkSQL

  • 7 years experience with large data platforms and technical data modeling languages

  • 5 years experience with git-based CI/CD development and deployment paradigm (GitHub, Jenkins, XLR)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with enterprise data governance practice and concepts

  • Proven track record of understanding business challenges and strategies and connecting those to data and capabilities

  • Solid understanding of current and upcoming data governance, data management and data product techniques and trends, with a point of view on the evolving concepts and standard methodologies

  • Program management experience, with team members across a diverse, global set of business units

  • Ability to work and connect with both business and technical teams at various levels

  • Ability to put enterprise thinking first, connect the role’s agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders

  • Demonstrated learning agility, ability to make decisions quickly and with the highest level of integrity

  • Willingness to test, learn, fail and improve is critical

  • Positive, collaborative leadership style with colleague and customer first mindset

  • Experience with Colliery and Manta

  • Oracle PL SQL

  • Apache Airflow
