Develop and implement a business strategy (STRAP) for cloud connected avionics architecture to grow the software business for integrated avionics. Develop the architecture based to enable cloud connected features (e.g. secure cockpit browser etc.) and then translate it to growth with new product development, open innovation, voice of customer. The role will grow into executing the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) aligned with cloud connected architecture for integrated avionics portfolio. An innovative, thought leadership is needed to drive NPD transformation associated with their portfolio and generate revenue from platforms by building innovative business models.

  • Research the market & conduct VOC

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 8+ years of experience in a technical/business role

  • BA / BS degree

  • Due to export laws, must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status

WE VALUE

  • MBA preferred

  • Extensive management experience with direct P&L accountability

  • Knowledge of AOP process and financial statements

  • Strong sales and operations experience

  • Product and aviation industry experience

  • Strong tactical and strategic skills required

  • Ability to motivate and build high performing teams while operating in a results-drive organization

  • Self-driven individual who is quick to learn

  • Ability to provide reliable judgment in complex situations with limited information

  • Entrepreneurial skills with record of exceeding objectives
