Mechanic Trailer Repair and Warranty Work

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, focusing on repair and warranty work.

Job Overview: The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of trailers, including tasks such as fixing hydraulic lines, electrical systems, gates, ramps, and performing custom modifications. The role requires proficiency in using a range of equipment, including plasma cutters, acetylene torches, MIG welders, grinders, and hand tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trailer repair and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trailer Repair:\ Perform repairs on various trailer types, including addressing issues with frames, axles, brakes, and suspensions.
• Hydraulic Line Maintenance:\ Repair and replace hydraulic lines, ensuring proper function and safety of trailer systems.
• Electrical System Repair:\ Diagnose and repair electrical wiring and components, including lighting systems and wiring harnesses.
• Gate and Ramp Repair:\ Repair or replace trailer gates, ramps, and other access points, ensuring they operate smoothly and safely.
• Custom Modifications:\ Install accessories and make custom modifications to trailers as per customer specifications.
• Welding and Fabrication:\ Use MIG welders, plasma cutters, and acetylene torches to repair or fabricate trailer components.
• Quality Assurance:\ Inspect completed work to ensure it meets safety standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

• Experience:\ Proven experience in trailer repair and maintenance, with a strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Technical Skills:\ Proficiency in using plasma cutters, acetylene torches, MIG welders, grinders, and hand tools.
• Problem-Solving Ability:\ Strong diagnostic skills to identify and address trailer issues efficiently.
• Physical Ability:\ Capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy components and working in various positions.
• Attention to Detail:\ Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Team Player:\ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
