Ryder is seeking a skilled and reliable Reach Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating reach trucks to move materials and products within our warehouse. The Reach Operator will ensure the safe and efficient handling of inventory and contribute to maintaining an organized and productive work environment.

salary: $19.5 - $19.51 per hour

shift: Second

work hours: 3:30 PM - 12:30 AM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks to move materials and products within the warehouse.

• Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.

• Accurately pick and place items from storage racks.

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on reach trucks and other equipment.

• Organize and secure materials in designated storage areas.

• Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory management.

• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
