Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant - Orthopedics
Medical Assistant - Orthopedics – Full-time, onsite, $20-$23 per hour, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a great team in a productive environment!
Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant - Orthopedics
3+ years of recent medical assistant experience required
Recent orthopedics experience highly preferred
Casting and splinting experience preferred
Medical Assistant diploma or certificate required
High school diploma or GED required
Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant - Orthopedics
Greet and room patients
Take basic vitals and perform patient intake
Prep patient for provider
Help with procedures
Answer phones and prep charts
Obtain prior authorizations for procedures
Complete prescription refill requests and patient callbacks
