Position Summary
Would you like to join CVS Health, a Fortune 5 company, on our multifaceted Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Strategic Initiatives team? This high impact, high visibility role is critical to supporting our 250-person cross-functional department under Client Financial Analysis & Optimization (CFAO).
As a Manager on CFAO’s Program and Project Management Team, you will be responsible for providing program/project oversight, day-to-day management, direction, and administration across large, cross-organizational initiatives. Requiring minimal supervision, you will be responsible for effectively managing stakeholder / leadership expectations and engagement through clear communication of roles & responsibilities and regular status updates.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Driving successful, on-time delivery of all assigned projects, within scope and in compliance with CVS Health requirements
Leading and facilitating productive virtual meetings through clear agendas and follow-up notes to foster alignment & progress
Producing detailed project plans, action items, and regular, effective stakeholder communication to remain on track
Partnering with business owners to understand objectives and translate into final project deliverables, keeping timelines and dependencies in mind to meet final target dates
Ensuring all project needs are met through proactive engagement of support teams and creative problem solving to remove barriers
Resolving complex business issues and mitigating risk through collaboration, understanding when to escalate to ensure timely resolution
Creating & cascading clear, salient, and timely leadership-facing materials (status updates, slides, emails)
Creating / maintaining an organized, shared program & project file library for team and partners, including a holistic portfolio view
Driving new pricing strategies from design to implementation quickly and efficiently for underwriters to model
Assist with improving the project / program mgmt process standards within the team
Performing other duties as assigned or determined by business needs

Required Qualifications
5+ years at a healthcare company / corporate role, including experience on medium to large scale programs with success dependent on cross-functional partnerships
2+ years of experience successfully delivering results through others
1+ years of experience managing or contributing to complex projects in a highly matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of project and software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, etc.
Healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy experience is a plus
Experience presenting and facilitating to various groups with audience-specific content
Excellent relationship management and the ability to work within a complex organizational environment
Experience with documentation management and project management tools
Project Management Certification
Strong Microsoft O365 skills to drive efficiency, organization, and collaboration
Excellent verbal / written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Experience working with multiple teams, delegating, and ensuring team efficiency
Education
BS or equivalent professional experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $139,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
