Meta Manager, DEC Business Intelligence in Phoenix, Arizona


This role is with the Systems and Business Intelligence team that works closely with Meta business leaders to understand the needs of the business and to develop a vision and strategy for tooling and data solutions that support data center designs, engineering, and construction. This position is responsible for managing the team supporting the product lifecycle from customer intake to solution development leveraging an understanding of business drivers, requirements engineering, and program management to deliver business insights and solutions.

Manager, DEC Business Intelligence Responsibilities:

  1. Manage team of business intelligence and analyst to prioritize the team’s work across a wide range of fast-moving org and company initiatives

  2. Work with functional leads across DEC along with systems architecture engineers, systems integration leads, product owners, and data science leads to translate business requirements into durable, long-term solutions

  3. Work closely with stakeholders to vision and implement business solutions to a wide range of issues, including execution planning, requirement engineering, mock-ups, visualization, and reporting

  4. Define functional roadmaps, resourcing models, goals, and objectives

  5. Create automated procedures to scale and operationalize processes

  6. Build efficient and reliable stakeholder engagement models, processes, and solutions that evolve to meet business needs over time

  7. Provide reporting and communication to stakeholders to present and align on product lifecycle implementation and utilization

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience with requirements engineering, user stories creation and use cases development

  2. Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners across a global organization

  3. Experience leading teams managing sizable system and software development programs and projects from conception to execution

  4. 10+ years of overall technical experience with 4+ years' experience managing a team of Technical Program Managers, and/or System Integrators/System Analysts or similar roles

  5. BA/BS or equivalent in business intelligence, information systems, engineering, construction management, or relevant work experience

  6. Experience with various communication strategies, presentations, and analytical skills

  1. Project Management (PMP) or Six Sigma Certification

  2. Experience in Data Center or Construction industry

  3. Experience in Product Management, including Requirements Engineering

  4. Experience with organizational change management
