Job Description

The Validation Test Technician will be responsible for executing test plans and documenting bug tickets including, but not limited to, creating a recording of the reproduction of the bug, capturing logs and keeping test cases up to date and other test equipment software for body worn cameras. They'll also be working with remote software/firmware developers and product managers to test firmware fixes and new features in the allotted time communicated. Conducting validation tests for new and/or legacy products, assemble automation test fixtures, sets up test equipment and maintain lab organization. Perks include working cross functionally with different teams ranging from Hardware Validation to Failure Analysis Engineers.

Skills and Requirements

1.5+ years' of any quality test environment

Familiar with Bug Cases

Proficient knowledge of electronics/computers (Computer Aptitude)

Familiarity with and executing test cases

Ability to work through troubleshooting steps

Linux is huge plus

1+ years validation/troubleshooting experience with hardware/physical products Past experience with major/minor revisions

Linux Nav/File Systems

Experience writing test cases

SDLC knowledge

Six Sigma / ASQ / Other certs null
