Job Title: FARS (Firefighter Air Replenishment System) Manger/Business Development

Job Summary:

Generate sales, price deficiencies and inspections, coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors, manage internal teams, and all other duties that are required for FARS (Firefighter Air Replenishment System) on new and existing buildings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate Sales for new projects with new and existing customer base and for Fire Life Safety Service.

  • Pursue new leads for work.

  • Prepare written quotes and contracts.

  • Communication with subcontractors to secure scope and price.

  • Follow-up with customers in a timely manner to ensure sale is captured.

  • Coordinate with Local AHJs and industry professionals to ensure compliance.

  • Service includes deficiencies from Inspections, Preventative Maintenance, and Service Repairs. This position does include Inspection Sales.

  • Prepare written quotes with scopes detailing services being provided.

  • Assist customers of the phone with Emergency Situations along with Customer Service for Technical Questions.

  • Ability to multi-task and handle many projects.

  • Ability to Project Manage numerous jobs at a time.

  • Flexibility with scheduled changes or a daily basis.

  • Find, vet, and assist with service partners.

  • Review Documentation prior to invoicing

  • Assist the service/inspection office manager.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Become knowledgeable of NFPA Fire Protection codes and NFPA 25, IFC Appendix L

  • Sales Experience

  • Sprinkler knowledge preferred

  • Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record

  • Must be disciplined and self-motivated to work with limited supervision.

  • Excellent communicator and have great organizational skills with a positive attitude

  • Passionate attitude while making multiple cold calls and more.

  • Believe that customer service is the priority

  • Electronic organized with expedient computer skills

  • Provide customer service first.
